San Francisco - Grisaille Folly

A call from an new client with a tight deadline.

Christmas was a blur as I worked to finish this mural for a designer’s client in Pacific Heights, San Francisco. E-mails and inspiration flew back and forth ending in this beautiful library. The client wanted ancient ruins, a bit of whimsy, and a composition that worked with the room’s hidden fold-out doors.
