Floor Projects

I'm fascinated with painted floors. For rooms with a lot ofeye-level clutter, a simple design can have a huge impact. The projects in this gallery were inspired by a number of sources: one was based on the floors of a Russian palace, another based on gilded designs pictured behind Klimpt's women, still another Compass Rose was painted for a sailor. The leopard pelt was painted on a marble floor entrance way that needed a little something to be added, painted illusionistically from multiple angles.
