There are times I need color and light in my head and even in the summer greenery is hard to find in the city, so a visit to the flower district lifted my spirits and sent me on a quest for color. When using water based paints/inks on paper at this size the process is fast and unforgiving, but I learned to breath through it all and yes, these four paintings are huge (50" H x 41" W).
