Over-scaled Botanical w/ Bugs

I received a call for a mural in a unique bathroom, complete with emerald green tiled shower and domed ceiling. The client, a collector of contemporary art, was looking for ideas.

I remembered a photograph of a small Indian miniature painting of a flower with vivid reds and deep greens. She agreed and off we went, adding wonderful bugs inspired by French entomologist Eugene Saguy, aas well as a fuzzy caterpillar that she loved as a child.
